At Kestrix, we deliver asset intelligence for an energy resilient future.

What we do

Kestrix is on a mission to scale retrofits by making real-world energy performance data of buildings more accessible. Using thermal drones and AI, Kestrix maps and quantifies heat loss and generates indicative retrofit plans for homes at whole portfolio level.

We enable property professionals to go beyond the guesswork of modelled data and build confidence in retrofit investment plans through the creation of empirical property data at scale.

What we can help you with

If you’re involved in Retrofit planning and delivery, Strategic Asset Management or Resident Engagement and want to improve the current process, then Kestrix can help.

We provide decision grade insights on Insulation status, Retrofit recommendations. Energy asset siting (ASHP, Solar), Geometric measurements, EPC Validation and Retrofit verification.

Our solution

Our thermal and visual spectrum imagery is analysed into meaningful retrofit and fabric insights that better inform the retrofit (PAS2035) process. Reducing inefficiency, targeting the right homes, reducing cost and delivering a better project.

Benefits of working with us

Better asset data.

Informed decisions.

Engaged residents.

Smoother, faster project delivery.

Assured stakeholders.

Case study

How Peabody used AI-enabled RetroSpect by Kestrix to demonstrate retrofit efficacy.

The Challenge
To independently prove that retrofit works have had the intended effect and that every pound spent translates into measurable savings for residents.

The Solution
Using thermal drones, Kestrix scanned the properties in receipt of retrofit measures before and after retrofit. Differential analysis was conducted on the thermal performance of the building fabric, delivering a statement on the impact of the works undertaken.

The results
The analysis of the data captured provided the following insights for Peabody:
1.    77% thermal improvement across all roofs
2.    Estimated average savings per home of £520 per year
3.    Estimated average CO”e reduction per home of 1.3 tonnes.
