As AI becomes increasingly embedded in the workplace, housing organisations are having to think beyond individual tools and experiments and consider how they build confidence, understanding and capability across their teams.

In this session, Barrhead Housing will share how they designed and rolled out an AI education programme across the organisation, built around Suzy, an AI model developed by UptakeAi.

Lauren Rice, Director of Finance and Corporate Services, Barrhead Housing, and Lorna Wilson, CEO, Barrhead Housing, will talk through why they decided to introduce the programme, how they approached its design and implementation, and how they have supported colleagues to develop their understanding and confidence around AI.

Rather than focusing purely on the technology, the session will provide an honest look at the practical experience of introducing AI education within a housing association — including what has worked, what they have learned along the way and what they might approach differently.
