Session overview – Maximising your ROI - Return on Innovation

What's the point of innovation? Many organisations treat innovation as a fad - they only invest when it's fashionable or when stakeholders apply pressure. When things are going well, why bother to invest in innovation? When things are going badly, too late! Better cut costs. Come join us and fellow DIN members for an innovation masterclass with Tristan Kromer to help you maximise your ROI – Return on Innovation.

What will we cover?

Corporate innovation by its very nature involves a lot of uncertainty, uncertainty around outcomes, timelines and what you will get back for your investment, so for boards and executive teams this can often lead to challenges in demonstrating the value of innovation.

However there are well proven methods for helping organisations understand and improve their innovation solutions and this timely webinar will help you with yours.

Innovation must be a strategic choice for companies before it's too late and not as a PR exercise. Innovation should drive growth, increase efficiencies, diversify revenue of impact streams, or act as an insurance policy against industry disruption. Once the strategic purpose is clear - we can begin to calculate the ROI of innovation and justify the investment with clear numbers. In this session Tristan will explore:

  • Designing the right strategic purpose for your organisation
  • Understand and design the right KPIs for each experiment
  • The key stages of the innovation process and how to understand when to invest and when to pivot
  • And much more
