It’s been a while but the Disruptive Innovators is pleased to invite you to join us as we go inside the Amazon Fulfilment Centre (geet big warehouse thing!) in Gateshead.

If you’ve not been inside one of these Amazon centres before it is well worth an hour of your time as you will learn so much about how this retailer manages to deliver successful customer experiences at scale. And with the number of complaints increasing in the social housing sector you will also hear how they deal and learn from them.

We are also fortunate that the Gateshead centre is one of this that uses robots to support humans in the logistics chain.

This will be a fully escorted tour and we will see and hear about:

• The value of chaotic/random storage
• Efficiency through automation
• People and process systems
• Customer centric mindset
• Staff attraction, development and retention
• GEMBA and how to solve problems quickly
• And a fair bit more.

A maximum of 18 places are available on the tour which will last an hour.
