Their purpose is to tackle the biggest challenge of our generation – The Climate Crisis. Their objective is clear: to create beautiful places, with high performance buildings, where people can lead a happy low carbon life.

Combining placemaking with reduction in carbon: Gain understanding on how weaving together the art of great placemaking and the science of reducing carbon emissions, they’re proving that sustainable places can be beautiful and amazing with the added value of planetary responsibility.

Innovative Design Principle – What makes great design when creating places where people can thrive. How looking outside the redline boundary can have huge impacts on the community.

Guest speakers include Nick Atkins (Chief Executive) and Sian Webster (Executive Director of Growth and Assets) at Yorkshire Housing: They’ll be sharing their experience of partnering with Citu, and taking handover of their first homes at the Climate Innovation District in January. They’ll also bring the customer view to the discussion.
