Following our very first and hugely successful Innovators Assemble session, we're back!

Now your questions on change resistance and how to get buy-in have been answered, our next panel session will guide you through the cost of innovating (or not) and how to successfully experiment.

And to make sure you get the most from this hour-long session, it’s over to you again!

We want to hear your burning questions in advance, so we can give you the best possible ideas, guidance and solutions to the issues you’re dealing with when it comes to cost effective innovation and experimentation.

How do you know who to turn to in your organisation to help innovate? Where do you start with running an experiment? How can you innovate without huge cost?

All this and more can be answered – you just need to ask!

Please don’t worry if you have a tricky question that means you’d rather stay anonymous; we can do that too.

What the session will cover:

In an hour-long session, our expert panelists, who've all been there, done that, will answer your queries and share their own experiences and examples of:

· Cost effective innovation - innovating can be inexpensive yet can help you save money and reduce risk, so find out how

· Identifying your innovators – we'll show you how to find the right people to support your innovation journey

· How to run a successful experiment – Examples and advice on creating a safe space to test

Please add your question(s) when you register

About our panel of speakers:

Paul Taylor, Innovation Coach at Bromford Flagship

In 2014 Paul Taylor gave up doing a proper job to launch the first innovation lab in the social housing sector. Widely criticised at the time as a gimmick, the approach has moved from a ‘fail fast agile team’ at the periphery of the organisation, to becoming embedded into organisational strategy.

Paul has extensive experience in strategy development, marketing, communications, customer experience and product design. He is a regular speaker and adviser on innovation and a frequent blogger and contributor to publications.

Susie Braam, Founding partner of Yellow Cat Innovation

With a distinguished 20+ year career in national security, Susie has held pivotal roles as head of innovation in Central Government, including setting up and leading multi-organisation incubators tasked with tackling some of the UK’s most persistent counter-terrorism challenges.

She also built organisation-wide innovation capability, developed innovation strategies and portfolios, set up and coached investment boards and professionalised innovation as a skill.

Since 2020, Susie has worked as a trusted advisor, trainer and coach. She has worked with executive teams engaged in large-scale digital transformation projects and with established organisations that have an ambition to grow beyond their core business.

Steve Key, Innovation Manager at believe housing

Steve has more than 30 years of experience in retail management, organisational development, transformation and innovation. Over the last four years at believe housing in the North East of England, Steve has helped the organisation collectively build a culture of innovation.

He also founded Social Housing Innovation North East (SHINE), working internally with the sector and is passionate about collaborating with DIN to ensure an external focus, that is also crucial to ensuring effective change.

This event isn't just for people with roles in innovation, transformation, change or business development. If you’re looking to embed change as being comfortable within your organisation or you’re struggling with how to bring people along on the journey with you, then this is for you.
