In this keynote speech, Andrew will present his review of AI in 2024; where it succeeded, where it surprised and where it slumped. He’ll describe some of the AI use cases he has built for housing associations, including the use of Large Language Models. He will also explain what to look forward to and what to ignore in the world of AI in the next 12 months and beyond.
  • Having designed and implemented large scale digital services at the BBC including, BBC Sounds and the iPlayer Dan Taylor-Watts attention has now turned to the role of AI in business and his lessons from delivering digital transformation can be applied to this technology.
  • Jon Cocker has led an award-winning digital team at Platform Housing Group where they have been recognised for their adoption and exploration of AI in housing services. Jon will share with delegates how they have managed to create a culture of experimentation and the use cases they are building across housing services.

  • In 2024 DIN and Campbell Tickell launched their fourth thought leadership report this time on the subject of AI and housing and the challenges and opportunities it would bring. Ceri will share with delegates the key findings of the report and the lessons housing leaders can take away.
  • LB Brent decided early on that AI could play a key role in delivering better more efficient services. With a focus on how they have used AI to improve their complaints service Madeline will share their story of what worked and what they might do differently.
  • As the lead on AI at the London Office of Technology and Innovation, Sam has spent a lot of time examining the technology from an ethical and data usage perspective. In his contribution to the event, we will be exploring with him what are the privacy and ethics issues of rolling out AI that organisations need to consider.
  • In a live product demo of the use of AI in housing Ettan Bazil, founder of Helpmefix will show how the technology is transforming the way we identify and diagnose repairs to improve the first-time fix rate and the tenant experience.
  • But what about the skills and capabilities organisations and people are going to have to acquire to learn and make the most of AI.
