Introduction

Come and join us for an insightful overview of the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard. While social housing providers are delivering homes to EPC standards, it is time to start thinking more deeply about net zero carbon and what the standard might look like so we can navigate the path to net zero with confidence and clarity:

What we will cover

· Explore the principles of the Standard based on the UK carbon budget and 1.5°C climate pathway.

· Understand its creation via a coalition of leading bodies like CIBSE, RIBA, UKGBC and RICS.

· The pilot version, what it covers and pilot testing across real world projects

· What’s coming next?
