Stepping into a CEO role demands more than technical skill. It requires a clear understanding of how you respond under pressure. This session blends psychology, leadership practice and real CEO experience to help you understand and strengthen your mental toughness as you prepare for, or step further into, the CEO role.

What they will cover:

· An introduction to the 4C Mental Toughness model and why it matters for CEOs.

· How mental toughness influences decision making, resilience, confidence and personal impact.

· Anita's lived experience of leading through challenge, change and scrutiny.

· How to interpret your MTQ diagnostic results and what they reveal about your leadership style.

· Practical strategies to strengthen mental toughness in key leadership moments.

Anita has guided Freebridge through significant change and evolution all of which has been rooted in ensuring Freebridge has the capability and capacity to continue to serve its tenants, customers and stakeholders well into the future. This has included a shift to a new operating model, and the cultural and technological changes needed for modernisation as well as navigating the impact of covid early in her tenure and more recently industrial action. She brings grounded and honest insight into what it feels like to lead when expectations, emotions and scrutiny are high.

Joanne is an expert in the 4C Mental Toughness framework: Control, Commitment, Challenge and Confidence. She specialises in translating psychological theory into practical leadership tools that help people perform under pressure.
