Join us and fellow DIN members as we help you and your teams get ready for the introduction of Awaabs law in the Autumn.

Perhaps the biggest shake up in a generation to the way social landlords will manage their homes and respond to tenants potentially hazardous living conditions in particular damp and mould.

This four part series will help you get prepared and think through the new systems and legal obligations that you will have to have in place to ensure compliance with the law.

Introduction

This webinar provides a comprehensive overview of Awaab’s Law, exploring its significance, proposed measures, and the practical steps housing providers must take to ensure compliance.

Speaker

Dorota Pawlowski, Partner at Trowers and Hamlins
Dorota has nearly 30 years' experience in the residential property sector specialising in all aspects of issues that may face a residential landlord, Dorota advises registered providers on all aspects of housing management issues but has developed a particular expertise in relation to disrepair claims and increasingly, claims for unfitness for human habitation. Dorota leads a team of solicitors and paralegals who deal with a large volume of disrepair cases and fights hard to defend cases or settle them for as low a sum as possible. She has reviewed registered providers' policies and procedures and advised in relation to complaints made to the Housing Ombudsman.
