AI Open Surgery: Live Q&A and Problem Solving
We recognise that the world of AI, and how organisations are choosing to use it is evolving at pace. Rather than fixing the agenda too far in advance, this session is designed to respond directly to what you want to know, learn, or move forward with at the time of delivery.
Whether your questions are about strategic direction, practical application, ownership and governance, or simply building confidence and literacy across the organisation, this will be a responsive, member-led session shaped around your current realities. When you register, you’ll be invited to help set the agenda, with additional space on the day for live discussion and Q&A.
What this session will cover
Because this is an AI Surgery, the focus is less on pre-set content and more on tackling the real questions DIN members are grappling with. The session will be shaped around themes emerging from the group, which may include:
- Sense-checking current thinking on AI and separating hype from what is genuinely useful now
- Exploring where organisations are experimenting with AI, where they are stuck, and what feels unclear or risky
- Discussing practical use cases across different parts of the organisation – not just People Services – and what it takes to scale responsibly
- Considering issues of ownership, capability, governance and accountability as AI use grows
- Building confidence and literacy at leadership and board level to enable better decisions about AI investment and direction
- Creating space to test ideas, ask “naïve” questions, and learn from peers facing similar challenges
The emphasis will be on relevance, practicality and shared learning, ensuring the conversation reflects the state of AI at the time and the needs of those in the room.
