Inside the Business Greggs transformation story
For those of you with long memories, you will recall Greggs the bakers from years gone by. Nowadays they are simply known as Greggs. Part of the reason for this was because their traditional markets were being disrupted by competitors (including supermarkets) and changing customer needs. But how does a business respond to disruption whilst still delivering business as usual?
I’d be delighted if you could join me in person as we go inside Greggs for the day and hear about their remarkable transformation story and what we as leaders can learn from their experiences.
We will listen and learn from their CEO, Roisin Currie, along with senior members of her team about different aspects of the business and how they have all played a role in amplifying the brand to the one we know today.
The visit will also explore areas such as their use of technology, product innovation and marketing.
Finally and often something which goes unnoticed is the work of their charitable foundation and how it supports the communities and schools in the areas in which it operates. In fact our visit is possible because of the donation DIN will be making on behalf of members to the Greggs Foundation. So come learn and support a great cause.
By attending this study visit you will go away with a greater understanding of:
• How to drive radical transformation whilst delivering business as usual.
• Engaging and responding to customers’ needs.
• How to deliver profit with social purpose.
• How to attract, develop and retain talent.
• Continuous innovation
This event is aimed at CEOs, Executive Directors and leaders of change within organisations interested in transforming the way their businesses deliver services to customers.
