The term ‘digital transformation’ is probably one of the most overused phrases of modern times. Everyone it seems is talking about it, but when asked for good examples (especially whole organisational ones) the conversation dries up!

However here at DIN we know there are some housing providers who have moved beyond ‘digitisation’ and embraced digital as part of their business DNA. One such organisation is Notting Hill Genesis, who despite having some significant challenges have managed to successfully invest their time, energy and resources into delivering business as usual whilst moving to be a digital first housing provider.

If you think about it, dealing with issues such as managing a merger, legacy IT systems, Covid-19, net zero and tenant safety would be enough for any business but at the same time completely rethinking how they wanted to deliver repairs, the customer experience and be more efficient, digital transformation was the only way forward.
